Description

Re-Animator
1985.
After the horrific incident back at the Zurich University Institute of Medicine in 
Switzerland, medical
student, Herbert West, obsessed with the idea of overcoming 
the obstacle of death and determined to vindicate
himself by backing up his theory, 
arrives at the Miskatonic University in New England. Before long, Herbert will

begin experimenting with dead feline tissue, and then, with fresh human cadavers, 
while his eager roommate,
Dan Cain, convinced that the phosphorescent green reagent 
works, will join West in his work. Inevitably, as the
two young scientists burrow 
deeper and deeper into uncharted territories, the reanimated corpses will ensure 
that, shortly, all hell will break loose, while in the meantime, Herbert's arch 
nemesis, Dr Hill, yearns to take
credit for this discovery. Apparently, the dead 
shall rise again, even with a bit of help.

Bride Of Re-Animator 1989.
In Peru, Dr. Herbert
West and Dr. Dan Cain are medical volunteers in a civil war 
with the assistant Francesca Danelli and they are
researching how to create human 
life from dead tissue using wounded soldiers as guinea pigs. They return to 
Miskatonic Hospital and Dan treats a terminal patient, Gloria, and gets close to 
her. When the snoopy Lt. Leslie
Chapham investigates the Miskatonic Massacre, he 
learns that body parts are missing in the morgue, and Herbert and
Dan become his 
prime suspects. But Herbert kills the lieutenant and revives him with the serum. 
Meanwhile,
Dr. Graves finds the head of Dr. Carl Hill and the green substance that 
the deceased doctor stole from Herbert,
and uses the serum to resurrect Dr. Hill's 
head. When Gloria dies, Herbert and Dan use her head, with Meg's heart
and parts of 
other women to create the perfect woman. But Lt. Chapham teams up with Dr. Hill to 
seek revenge
against the crazy scientists.

A dozen years later we find West is an inmate at a forbidding old Prison. In spite 
of his
incarceration, West has been continuing his Re-animation research, using 
rats and mice for subjects, and
electrocuting them with a special jerry-rigged 
apparatus. West has now identified an electrical phenomenon # the
NEE # which is 
discharged from the brain at the moment of death...and which may be the 'missing 
link' in his
studies: if the NEE is re-injected into a Re-animated Corpse, it 
should restore the subject to full.
